How many sessions are needed for laser hair removal?
On average, 8 sessions are needed. Treatments take place every 4–8 weeks, depending on the body area.
Is the laser treatment painful?
No! The Elysion Pro's Crystal Freeze® cooling system keeps the handpiece at 5°C, so the treatment is almost entirely painless.
How long before laser should I avoid sun exposure?
Before laser hair removal, avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, and self-tanner for at least 2 weeks. Sun-tanned skin is highly sensitive and increases the risk of pigmentation spots developing during treatment.
How long after laser should I avoid the sun or tanning beds?
After laser treatment, avoid the sun and tanning beds for 10–14 days, and SPF 50+ sunscreen is mandatory on the treated area. Treated skin is more sensitive than usual, and sun protection prevents pigmentation spots from forming.
Can laser treatment be done while taking medication?
Some medications (e.g. photosensitizing agents, isotretinoin/Roaccutane, certain hormonal preparations) rule out laser treatment. With antibiotics, the course must be finished at least 10–14 days before treatment — this may be a contraindication. When booking, always mention any medications you take regularly so we can consult with you.
What's the difference between microneedling and nanoneedling?
Microneedling is invasive: the needles pierce the upper layer of the skin, reach deeper, and stimulate more intensive collagen production. Nanoneedling is non-invasive, gentler, and painless, with no downtime.
What should I expect after a microneedling treatment?
For 48–72 hours after the treatment, mild redness and heightened skin sensitivity may occur; then, after about 3 days, the facial skin begins to peel — a natural sign of skin renewal. During the first 1–3 days, avoid makeup and intense exercise, and use only the products we recommend.
What is Carbon Peeling good for?
Carbon Peeling is a laser skin-renewal treatment that exfoliates the skin and activates collagen production at the same time. It's effective against enlarged pores, a dull complexion, faint scars, and overactive sebaceous glands (acne-prone skin).
